The individual did not choose to be raped.

A young woman being raped and then forced to carry the baby to term could be disastrous for both mother and child. No, not everything that happens is good, or beneficial. A person who is raped is a victim, and should not be forced to carry the fetus to term. Imagine if, in an unfortunate case, a young 14-year-old-girl was raped and then forced to keep the child. She would be teased and abandoned by her friends and possibly family, and may develop severe depression and anxiety problems because she was not emotionally capable to care for a child. Her then lack of education would lead to poverty and sickness. Why impose this kind of torture on a young girl?
