should i write xxx as 3x or xcube? wt is the main difference?? plz help..

x into x into x is x cube.

x + x+x is 3x.

In the first case, when the 3 x are multiplied, their exponents get multiplied ( in this case 1) and become x cube.

In the second case, imagine that there is a 1 before each x. That is, 1x + 1x+ 1x which becomes 3x.
