I think yes because every company and his owners only wants profits noone want loss in his company

Ya but look whenever any owners start his Bussiness and invest some goods or assets on it then finally he want or need profit. .. Hope u got it.

The main motive of business is to earn profits. So, Profit Maximization can be the goal of a business.
A business entity whose motive is not to earn profits but to serve the members of its organization, then such organization is called as Not-For-Profit Organizations.
