The handle should be made of hard material so that we can hold it whereas the bristles should be made of soft material .

no friend it is not necessary to make the bristles and the remaining body of the toothbrush should be made of same material . as if the body is made of metal then the bristles could not be made of same . metallic bristles would hurt the gums ...
