heya!
Keeping secrets helps in building trust and confidence in our relationships with other human beings. People who are sometimes unable to do this are often considered as very unstable and above all very untrustworthy!
Trust and belief is one of the most important requirement in a person's life. It builds a faith and we all are social animals, without having a relationship we can't carry out through our whole life and a relation needs trust.
We share our secrets with only those whome we believe the most, and nothing could hurt more than the betrayal of the trust for which we share our secrets.
Now returning to your question, should we keep secrets with us till we die? Well, the opinion differs in different situations. One is with trust and another with relief.
If someone has shared you a secret with having trust and belief on you, then you may feel revealing it as a betrayal. So you may not share it till your death.
In another situation, if you've done something wrong with someone, or if you're feeling yourself guilty by the pressure of keeping that secret, then you may reveal it for your own relief.
