Given ,
P(x) = 2x^4- 5x^2 + 11x -7
Now,
2x -3 =0
or, 2x = 3
or, x = 3/2
therefore,
LHS
-------------
2x^4 - 5x^2 + 11x -7
=2(3/2)^4 - 5(3/2)^2 + 11(3/2) -7
=(2 * 81/16 ) - (5* 9/4 ) + 33/2 -7
= 81/8 - 45/4 + 33/2 -7
= (81-90+132-56)/8
=67/8
RHS
-------------
0
therefore , LHS not equal to RHS
Hence, 2x-3 is not the factor of 2x^4 - 5x^2 + 11x -7
