show 2x-3 , is thr factor of 2x^4-5x^2+11x-7​

it is not the factor as when we do long division the remainder is 2

Given ,

P(x) = 2x^4- 5x^2 + 11x -7

Now,

2x -3 =0

or, 2x = 3

or, x = 3/2

therefore,

LHS

2x^4 - 5x^2 + 11x -7

=2(3/2)^4 - 5(3/2)^2 + 11(3/2) -7

=(2 * 81/16 ) - (5* 9/4 ) + 33/2 -7

= 81/8 - 45/4 + 33/2 -7

= (81-90+132-56)/8

=67/8

RHS

therefore , LHS not equal to RHS

Hence, 2x-3 is not the factor of 2x^4 - 5x^2 + 11x -7
