Given f(x) = 4x^3 + 20x^2 + 33x + 18.

Given g(x) = 2x + 1.

             2x^2 + 9x + 12

          -----------------------------------------------

2x + 1) 4x^3 + 20x^2 + 33x + 18

            4x^3 + 2x^2

         -------------------------------------------------

                         18x^2 + 33x + 18

                         18x^2 + 9x

          -----------------------------------------------

                                          24x + 18

                                          24x + 12

                    -------------------------------------------------

                                                       6.

Therefore Quotient = 2x^2 + 9x + 12, Remainder = 6.

Hope this helps!
