Show how square root 3 can be represented on the number line​. method i know i just wanted to know how to break root 3 using pythagores theoram

1.By Pythagoras Theorem,

( \sqrt{3}) { }^{2}  =  (\sqrt{2}) {}^{2}  + (1) {}^{2}

2. First mark √2 on number line and then draw a perpendicular of 1 unit upon it.
