(a×b)2 =a2+2ab+b2
let us multiply (a×b)by (a×b) because (a×b)2=(a×b)(a×b)
so let us multiply (a×b)(a×b)
so it gives out a2+ab+ab+b2
so a2+2ab+b2 is what we get
so it is proved
hope it helps u

Answer:

(a+b)² =   a²+2 ab+b²

Step-by-step explanation:

To show the given equation you need to follow the following steps

To prove; (a+b)² =a²+2 ab+b²

Proof;

Now, multiply (a+b)by (a+b) as (a+b)² can also be written as (a+b)*(a+b)

on multiplying (a+b)(a+b)

On expanding the the expression we get a²+ab+ab+b²

so we get  a²+2 ab+b²

Hence proved

(a+b)² =   a²+2 ab+b²
