show how we can use Fig. (1) to find the area of Fig. (2). Also find the perimeter of each figure. ​

the fig 1 is trapezium and in fig 2 there are 2 trapezium with same measure as trapped in fig1

so area of trapezium=h X sum of parallel sides/2

=4 X (11+5)/2

=4X16/2

=64/2

=32cm²

so area of fig 2=2 X 32

=64cm²

perimeter of fig 1=11+(5 X 3)

=11+15

=26cm

perimeter of fig 2=6 X 5

=30cm
