show how would you join three resistors each of ressistance 9ohm so that the equivalent resistance of the combination is 13.5 ohms and 6ohms

i) To get Equivalent resistance 13.5Ω

 We can join two 9Ω resistors parallel and connect this parallel combination to a 9Ω resistor connected in series to this parallel combination. There is a image similar to the combination that is to be used

ii) To get Equivalent resistance 6Ω

  We can join two resistors in series and that series parallel with a single 9Ω resistor. We can make it as same as given in 2nd image leaving R1 resistor in this combination
