Show that √2-√5 us irrational

Let us assume that √2-√5 is rational number.

√2-√5 = a/b ( a,b are co.primes)

a/b - √2 = √5,

a - √2 b/b = √5,

so, √2-√5 is irrational number..

√2-√5 =a/b

a-√2b/b=√5

so ,the given number is irrational

hence,

√2-√5 =a/b

a√2/b =√5

√2-√5 is a irrational.
