in a parallelogram ABCD , let BD Be the diagonal ;

and the diagonal divides the parallelogram into 2 triangles BAD and DCB

in triangle BAD and DCB

BD = BD ( COMMON SIDE )

AB = CD ( OPPOSITE SIDES ARE EQUAL )

AD = BC ( OPPOSITE SIDES ARE EQUAL )

FROM THE ABOVE EQUATION ,

BAD ~= DCB
