GIVEN:

Draw a triangle ABC

ABC is an equilateral triangle

therefore AB=BC=CA

TO PROVE:

angle ABC=angle BAC=angle BCA=60

PROOF:

Triangle ABC,

AB=BC

Angle BCA=Angle ABC (1 eqn)  (By the rule angles opposite to equal sides are equal)

similarly we can prove,

Angle BCA=Angle BAC  (2 eqn)

Angle ABC=Angle BAC   (3 eqn)

From equations 1,2,3 we get

angle ABC=angle BAC= angle BCA

Angle ABC+angle BAC+ angle BCA=180   (Angle sum property of a triangle)

As all the angles are equal,

3 x angle ABC=180     (as angle ABC=angle BAC= angle BCA)

Angle ABC=60

Therefore, Angle ABC=Angle BAC= Angle BCA=60

Hence proved....
