since 6 is a even integer.
when we multiply is by either a even integer or a odd number the answer will be even only.
for example
and on adding 2 and 4 such even numbers the answer will be even only.
let m be 4 a even integer
=> 6*4 = 24
=> 6*4+2 = 26
let m be 5 a positive integer
=> 6*5 = 30
=> 6*5+2 = 32
Hence proved
