Hello!

L.H.S. = cos x + tan x sin x

= cos x + \dfrac{\sf sin\: x}{\sf cos\:x} × \sf sin \:x

= \dfrac{\sf cos^{2}x + sin^{2}x}{\sf cos\:x}

= \dfrac{\sf 1}{\sf cos\:x}

= \sf sec \:x = R.H.S.

\boxed{\sf HENCE\: PROVED}

Cheers!
