Find the midpoint of P and Q and name it S.
Find the distance between 'S and R' and 'P and Q'.
Now compare the two distances and prove that SR=√3PQ.
As the length of the median of a equilateral triangle will only be root third of its side, the sum is proved.

slgowda: can u prove it by numbers bro please
GiridharaPrashad: that was √3/2*PQ
GiridharaPrashad: And I think I was too tedious when I answered the question as you can prove it just by using distance formula on the three sides
GiridharaPrashad: so anyway SR=√3a and PQ=2√2a
