Let a vehicle of mass 'm ' is moving in circular road of radius r and angle of banking is ∅ as shown in figure.
see figure,
upward force is balanced by downward force.
so, Ncos∅ = mg .....(1)
leftward force is balanced by rightward force .
so, Nsin∅ = mv²/r ......(2)
dividing equations (2) by (1),
tan∅ = v²/rg
∅ = tan^-1 (v²/rg)
