Carnot theorem is proposed by Sadi Carnot which states that no heat engine working in a cycle between two constant temperature reservoirs can be more efficient than a reversible engine working between the same reservoirs. ... For a reversible heat engine Q1/T1=Q2/T2. So the efficiency n is 1-(T2/T1).
