Given : points (-3,5), (3,1), (0,3) and (-1,-4)

To Find : Show that  the points  do not form a quadrilateral

Solution:

Slope between

(-3,5), (3,1)

= (-4/6) = -2/3

Slope between

(-3,5), (0,3)

= (-2/3) = -2/3

Slope between

( 3,1), (0,3)

= (2/-3) = -2/3

Slope between

(-3,5), (3,1)  , (-3,5), (0,3)  and  ( 3,1), (0,3)  are same

Hence these three points are collinear Hence its not possible to form a Quadrilateral
