Show that the points (3,-2), (1,0),(-1,-2) and

⇒ x2 + y2 + 2(- 1)x + 2(2)y + 1 = 0

⇒ x2 + y2 - 2x + 4y + 1 = 0 ..... (5)

Substituting D(1, - 4) in eq(5) we get,

⇒ 12 + (- 4)2 - 2(1) + 4(- 4) + 1

⇒ 1 + 16 - 2 - 16 + 1

⇒ 0

∴ The points (3, - 2), (1,0), (- 1, - 2), (1, - 4) are con - cyclic.
