Step-by-step explanation:

by distance formula

A=(3,5) ,B=(1,1) C=(-2,-5)

D(AB )= √(1-3)^2+ (1-5)^2

=√(-2)^2 +(-4 )^2

=√4+16

=√10

=2√5

D(BC) =√ (-2-1)^2 + (-5-1)^2

=√ (-3)^2+(-6)^2

=√9+36

=√45

=3√5

D(AC)=√(-2-3)^2+(-5-5)^2

=√ (-5)^2+(-10)^2

=√ 25+100

=√ 125

=5√5

D(AB)+D(BC)=D(AC)

2√5+3√5=5√5

GIVEN POINTS ARE COLLINEAR
