Show that v2= u2+2as by using v-t graph​

To prove :-

  • v² = u² + 2as

Prove :-

s = Area of trapezium OABC

⇝ s = ½ × sum of its parallel sides × height

⇝ s = ½ × OA × CB × OC

⇝ s = ½ × u × v - u × t

⇝ s = ½ × u × v - u × v - u/a

  • v - u = at
  • v - u/a = t

s = v + u × v - u/2a

⇝ 2as = v² - u²

⇝ v² = u² + 2as ........(Proved)
