we know that

v=u + a*t     (first eq.)

squaring both sides...

v2 = (u+a*t)2

v2= u2+ a2*t2 + 2at*u.......(1)

and we know that s=ut+1/2at2

so putting this equation in the value of u in eq1

we get,

v2=u2+a2t2+2at*(s/t - 2at)

2at will be cancelled from 2at

and hence

v2=u2+2as

v2-u2=2as
