Show that x-1 is the root of the equation x^2+4x-5. please it is more imp than u think to me​

Answer:

x - 1 = 0

x = 0 + 1

x = 1

+ 4x - 5 = 0

put x = 1

(1)² + 4(1) - 5 = 0

1 + 4 - 5 = 0

5 - 5 = 0

0 = 0

LHS = RHS

Therefore ,x - 1 is the root of the equation.
