Show that x^2+6x+10 has no zero.
I didn't understand the question too.
Can anyone explain it nicely..

If in an equation b^2 - 4ac < 0 then the equation has no roots (imaginary roots).

In this equation:-
a = 1
b = 6
c = 10

b^2 -4ac
= 6^2 - 4 (1)(10)
= 36 - 40
= -4

i.e, b^2-4ac <0 therefore this equation has no roots.
