Show that x-√2 is a factor of polynomial x^3-2√2x^2-10x+12√2. Hence factorise the polynomial

If you substitute
Sq. Root 2 instead of x the answer will be zero. So, it is proved that it is the factor of the polynomial according to factor theorem.

The factors of this polynomial are (x- sq.root 2)(x+2sq root 2)(x-3sq root 2). Hope you are satisfied.
