✴With the help of an example, show the effect of temperature on the particles of matter.

⭕Temperature of a particle is responsible for its state of matter.

⭕If the temperature of any matter would be high, then the kinetic energy in the particles of that matter will also be high.

⭕If there will be more kinetic energy, then the particles of matter would start vibrating faster and faster.

⭕Due to their continuously vibration, the particles will move far to each other. Hence, the state of the matter will change.

⭕We can take the example of ice. When we start heating ice, it's particles will move far from each other due to vibrations produced. Those vibrations are produced because of increase of kinetic energy in it. If the particles will spread, then the state will be changed from ice to water.

Answer:Temperature has a direct effect on whether a substance exists as a solid, liquid or gas.Generally, increasing the temperature turns solid into liquid and liquids into gases;reducing temperature turns gases into liquids and liquids into solid.
