Graphics representation of the Panchayati raj system is according to the power division or power sharing.

Panchayati Raj System in India is a form of government where each village has their autonomy and powers and responsibilities. It was introduced after the Amendment Act of 1992.

Balwant Rai Mehta is the father of the Panchayati Raj System in India. He was a member of Parliament when the committee was established which was also called the "Balwant Rai Mehta Committee" for the introduction of a three-tier government in India which is also known as the Panchayati Raj System.

According to this system, governance is divided into three levels:

1. Gram Panchayat at the village level.

2. Block Panchayat/Panchayat Samiti at the intermediate/block level.

3. Zila Panchayat at the district level.
