A torch costs Dhs. 7.65. Kate buys a torch and two batteries. She pays Dhs. 8.75 altogether. How much does each battery cost?

torch cost = 7.65

cost of 2 batteries = 8.75-7.65=1.10

cost of each battery=1.10/2=0.05

hence, cost of each battery is rs. 0.05
