"Net force = mg-2T = ma \rightarrow 1

Net force = 2Tr = 1 cm - \frac {a}{r}

= 2T = 1 cm - \frac {a}{r^2} \rightarrow 2

From 1 & 2

a = \frac {mg}{m+\frac {1cm}{r^2}}

From (ii), T = 1cm/ 2r^2 [\frac {mg}{m+\frac{1cm}{r^2}}]

Putting: 1cm=½mr^2, we get, a = 2/3 g

T = \frac {mg}{6}

V^2 = 2ah = 2(2/3 g) = h

V = \sqrt {\frac {4}{3}gh}"
