Shyam bought banana at the rate of Rs. 20 per dozen and sold them at a profit of 35%, find the selling price of each banana.

Profit = 35% of 20 = 0.35 x 20 = Rs 7


Selling price of a dozen banana = 20 + 7 = Rs 27


Selling price of 1 banana = Rs 27 ÷ 12 = Rs 2.25


Answer: Rs 2.25
