Shyam: 2 × perimeter of square
= 2 × 4 × length of side
= 2 × 4 × 135
= 1080 metres

Seem: 3 times perimeter of rectangle
= 3 × 2 × (l+b)
= 6 × (115)
= 690m

Shyam runs more by (1080 - 690) m which is 390 m.

heya!

here is your solution -

First of all, Shyam =

Side of the square park = 135 m
Perimeter
= 4 × side
= 4 × 135 m
= 540 m
Number of rounds = 2
Total distance
= 2 × perimeter
= 2 × 540 m
= 1080 m

Next, Seem =

Length of the park = 70 m
Breadth of the park = 45 m
Perimeter
= 2 (l+b)
= 2 (70 + 45) m
= 2 × 115
= 230 m
Number of rounds = 3
Total distance
= 3 × perimeter
= 3 × 230
= 690 m

Hence, Shyam covered more distance by 390 m
