1) 0.6788 liters

2) Rs. 300

3) 16 cm³

Step-by-step explanation:

Since volume of the cylindrical vessel is represented by

V = \pi r^{2}h

Where r = radius of the cylinder

and h = height of the cylinder

Therefore, volume of the juice in the container = \pi (15)^{2}\times 32

= 7200π cm³

Volume of the one cylindrical glass = \pi (3)^{2}\times (8)

= 72π cm³

= 226.29 cm³

1). Shyam purchased the juice = 3 glasses

Volume of 1 glass = 226.29 cm³

and 1 cm³ = 0.001 litres

Therefore, 226.29 litres = 0.226 litres

So volume of 3 glasses = 0.226×3 = 0.6788 litres

2). Number of glasses of juice contained in the container

= \frac{\text{Total volume fo the container}}{\text{Volume of one glass}}

= \frac{7200\pi }{72\pi }

= 100 glasses

Since cost of one glass = Rs 3

Therefore, cost of 100 glasses = 100×3 = Rs 300

3). Volume of one cube = 2³ = 8 cm³

Amount of juice displaced from the glass = volume of 2 cubes inserted in the glass

= 2×8

= 16 cm³
