we know that average = sum of total observation/Total numbers

so,

20 = ( sum of all members age)/3

sum of all members of family = 60 years.

Now let, Shyam age = x years.

than his Father will be = 6x years .

x + 6x + 25 = 60

7x = 60 - 25

7x = 35

x = 5 years ..

so, shyam age is 5 years .....
