yes Shylock has a greed for money . this can be seen int the acts. he is very greedy for money in front of money he does not see anyone. his greed for money is very intense that he even forget blood relations . he loves money more than her daughter. when Jessica elopes with Lorenzo with his money & jewels , he is worried more about the loss of his money.
