by herons formula
a = 5cm, b = 8cm and c = 7cm
s = (a + b + c)/2 = (5 + 8 + 7)/2 = 20/2 = 10
area of the triangle = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
=√10(10-5)(10-8)(10-7)
= 10√3 cm^2
a = 5cm, b = 8cm and c = 7cm
s = (a + b + c)/2 = (5 + 8 + 7)/2 = 20/2 = 10
area of the triangle = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
=√10(10-5)(10-8)(10-7)
= 10√3 cm^2

Area by Heron's Formula
semi-perimeter= (5+8+7)/2 =20/2 = 10
Now,
Area= root [10*(10-5)*(10-8)*(10-7)]
Area = root [10*5*2*3]
Area = root [50*6]
Area = root [300]
Area =root [ 100*3]
Area= 10* root3
area =17.32cm^2
i hope this will help you
