$= b \sqrt{5} = a$
$(b \sqrt{5} )^{2} = (a)^{2}$
$5 {b}^{2} = {a}^{2}$
Therefore 5 divides a square.
So 5 must divide a.
Similarly 5 divides b...
But a and b are co prime....
This equation thus contradicts...
