⭐ BOYLE'S LAW :

a \: law \: stating \: that \: the \: \\ pressure \: of \: a \: given \: mass \: of \: an \\ \: ideal \: gas \: \\ is \: inversely \: proportional \: to \: \\ its \: volume \: at \: a \: constant \: \\ temperature.
✨ EQUATION :

,states that the pressure (p) of a given quantity of gas varies inversely with its volume (v) at constant temperature; i.e., in equation form, pv = k, a constant.

⭐ SIGNIFICANCE :

✨Boyle's law gives us important information about the behavior of gases.

✨This is applicable in the respiratory system. When you contract your respiratory muscles, you draw air into your lungs and by increasing the volume of your chest, you decrease the pressure of your chest.

for a fixed amount of gas enclosed in the container pressure applied to gas is inversely proportional to the volume occupied by it at a constant temperature so thermal condition
