Yele bhai!

These organisms are oxygenic phototrophs, meaning they make energy from light and generate oxygen as a waste product. Photosynthesis in cyanobacteria is accomplished by several pigments; specifically, green chlorophyll a and blue phycocyanin are the major pigments.

Cyanobacteria is a large and diverse phylum in the kingdom Bacteria.

Cyanobacteria are among the oldest organisms on Earth.

They arose during the Proterozoic era, emerging with the generation of nutrient-rich oil deposits that appeared during that period.

These bacteria, are not related to other algae, which belong in the kingdom Plantae.
