Silicon has 14 atomic numbers. If silicon has three isotopes that have 14, 15 and 16 neutrons in their nucleus. What would the isotopes indicate? Answer - Silicon has an atomic number of 14. In this case all the three have same atomic no. of 14 but have different mass no. of 28, 29 and 30.
