Silver articles reacts with oxygen to form Silver oxide which is black in colour

Ag+O2----------->AgO

The other molecule of oxygen is used up in the process .

But if we balance it then

2Ag+O2---------------->2AgO

cooldab: The reaction is with Oxygen(air) and not with Hydrogen(H).
