silver is best electrical conductor why is it so not using for making electrical wires

because it is costly and govt. can't afford it...

that's why we use aluminium it has similar properties as of silver and it is not too costly

because it is very expensive and also it has low tensile strength. We use aluminium which is comparitively cheaper.
