As we know the reactivity series

K>Na>Ca>Mg>Al>Zn>Fe>Pb>H>Cu>Hg>Ag>Pt>Au

That's sure that we cannot use the elements potassium K, sodium Na, calcium Ca, magnesium Mg, aluminium Al....as they react vigorously...

And low reactive elements are highly expensive compared with moderate reactive elements

So due to the economic problems we prefer copper
