1)Both of the periods weapons were used for hunting and for wars
Differences:
1) in ancient times weapon were of stones and wood ,in medieval times it was made of iron

in both medevial and ancient period weapons are used for hunting, wars, and for cutting logs etc.
but the main difference between them is in medieval period weapons are made up of wood , stones but in ancient times they are made of iron and steel
and also in medieval period weapons are not so advanced but in ancient period they created unique weapons with many styles used for many purposes
