Pollution is the best similarity between the rivers Ganga and Godavari.

River Godavari is one of the biggest river basins of India that runs from western to southern India. The river has been completely polluted like Ganga and Yamuna just because of Industrialization and over population. Even though our planet is covered by 70% of water we have less than 2% or water left for consumption. We should take decisive steps to take the our perennial rivers back to life again because every single population in a country depends on a river, either in a direct way or indirect.

According to a survey, rivers in India have been polluted more by tourism activities apart from industries.

There will be a positive result in saving a river if we consider river as just a river instead of considering it as sacred.
