Therefore for according to the question interest on Rs3500 will be (I+400).
We know,
S.I.=PRT/100.
or,(Rs3500*10*T)/100=[(Rs2500*10*T)/100]+Rs400
or,(Rs350*T)=(Rs250*T)+Rs400
or,Rs350T-Rs250T=Rs400
or,Rs100T=Rs400
or,T=Rs400/Rs100
T=4 years.
Therefore for according to the question interest on Rs3500 will be (I+400).
