Ratios = 2 . 5 : 1 . 5

How to remove the decimal = ?

Solution :

2 . 5 : 1 . 5

In 2 . 5 we have tenth place .

In 1 . 5 we have tenth place .

Both ratios are same place .

In condition the ratios are reciprocal .

So ,

\tt{\implies}\frac{2.5}{1.5}

\tt{\implies}\frac{25 × 10}{15 × 10} => \frac{250}{150}

Lowest form of \frac{250}{150} :

250 : 150 = \frac{250 ÷ 5}{150 ÷ 5} = \frac{50 ÷ 5}{30 ÷ 5} = \frac{10}{6} = 10 : 6
