ANSWER:

  • Value of above expression is:
  • =  \dfrac{2 \sqrt{5} +  \sqrt{30}  }{2}  \:

GIVEN:

  • (√10+√15)/√2

TO FIND

  • Value of above expression

SOLUTION:

 =   \dfrac{ \sqrt{10} +  \sqrt{15}  }{ \sqrt{2} } \\  =  \frac{ \sqrt{10}  +  \sqrt{15} }{ \sqrt{2} } \times  \dfrac{ \sqrt{2} }{ \sqrt{2} }    \\  =  \frac{ \sqrt{2}( \sqrt{10} +  \sqrt{15})   }{ \sqrt{2}  \times  \sqrt{2} }  \\  =   \frac{ \sqrt{20} +  \sqrt{30}  }{2}  \\  =  \dfrac{2 \sqrt{5} +  \sqrt{30}  }{2}

Value of above expression is:

=  \dfrac{2 \sqrt{5} +  \sqrt{30}  }{2}  \:

NOTE:

  • In rationalization we have to multiply with a number such that the root from the denominator get remove.
