simplify 1/(3+√5)square+1/(3-√5)square

1/(3+√5)^2+1/(3-√5)^2

=((3-√5)^2+(3+√5)^2)/(3^2-(√5)^2))^2

=28/(9-5)^2

=28/16

=7/4
